How do we request an agency with you?

To apply for an agency you will need to complete an Agency Application form and a Terms of Business Agreement (TOBA) . You then need to send these to us with a copy of your latest Report & Accounts.

What is the security behind Glemham Underwriting Limited?

We are an underwriting agency on behalf of a number of Lloyd's and composite market insurers and therefore the security will differ dependent on the class of insurance. Full details are available on request.

Are you approved to underwriting Professional Indemnity Insurance for members of the ICAEW?

Are you approved to underwriting Professional Indemnity Insurance for members of the RICS?

Yes. We underwrite Professional Indemnity Insurance for RICS members on behalf of Listed Insurer Barbican Syndicate 1955 at Lloyd's of London.

Do you accept enquiries direct, or do I have to go through an Insurance Broker?

We only offer insurance through a limited number of Insurance Brokers who have met our agency requirements. Please contact your insurance broker to see if they have an agency with us.

Do you charge fees?

We do charge a fee of £75 in addition to the premium and Insurance Premium Tax and these charges are clearly shown on our quotation. We have carefully considered our rating and pricing structure to ensure that we can continue to provide our desired level of service to all client's irrespective of the premium levels and have decided that this fee is the most cost effective way of doing so, for all parties.
